Andy's Roll Covers - Anilox roll impact test research results.

With the use of a striking apparatus and a narrow web chromium oxide coated laser engraved anilox roll, Andy's Roll Covers were put to the test. Distance, mass, and roll protection were varied to establish a protection factor based on the roll's fracture point. The first test measured the fracture point of the unprotected roll. The second test measured the fracture point of the roll with an Andy's Standard Roll Cover in place. The roll's fracture point of the third test was measured with Andy's Ultima Roll Cover protecting the roll.
